An Act of God, written by David Javerbaum, is an irreverent comedy that pokes fun at religious stigmas with piercing wit and cutting truths. Produced by the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, this play depicts God deigning humanity with His presence in the form of a posessed actor. His main goal of this "Second Coming" is to deliver ten new commandments, without missing the chance to rant and reflect on His personal shortcomings. Mankind was made in his image, flaws and all.
