The Odyssey by Mary Zimmerman is a contemporized rendition of the Greek epic of the same name written by Homer. Odysseus must overcome a turbulent and tempestuous trek as he fights his way back home after years of being lost at sea. Working with Mary Zimmerman, this design was created with the ideas of modularity and turbulence in mind. The marble cliff face appears stoic and unmoving, however in moments of change, it undulates, pushes, and pulls to modify itself and to help or hinder our hero's journey.
